Multi Room Audio – Distributed Audio
Distributed audio seems to be everywhere today, regardless of whether you are in a shopping mall or walking through the halls in your office, background music can be heard. Therefore, the demand for residential background music systems continues to grow. At Immedia, we can help you design a system to meet all of your needs.
When designing a distributed audio system it is important to determine the sources that will used. Sources can include the following; an ipod, satellite radio, TV signal, CD player, DVD player and internet radio are some of the more common sources. Depending on the complexity of the system, each room can play the same source all of the time, or different sources by room, floor, zone, etc.
The success of a distributed audio system always comes back to ease of use. If the user interface and programming are not user friendly the system will be a failure. Prior to investing in a distributed audio system make sure that you have seen the control interface that will be used to manage it.
